APICS Instructor Center Update
The APICS Instructor Center is designed to provide information to instructors who use APICS courseware. To ensure these documents are accessible only to APICS instructors, the APICS Instructor Center is now only accessible behind the APICS web site member firewall. With this change, only instructors with APICS membership can access the APICS Instructor Center.

Attention International Instructors:  If you are a member of an APICS channel partner membership organization, but not an APICS member, please email Bob Collins, director of professional development, at pdadmin@apics.org and provide your name and contact details. APICS then will provide access information to the APICS Instructor Center.

For more information or questions, please contact pdadmin@apics.org.

Top Five APICS Resources That Every Chapter Officer Should Use
If you are a seasoned APICS volunteer or the new kid on the block, taking full advantage of the following resources will help ensure you have a successful tenure as an APICS chapter officer.

1. C-BOX
C-BOX is your online, one-stop shop for best practices, templates, and guidelines for developing and maintaining a successful APICS chapter.

C-BOX has a variety of tools to help you:

  • Market your chapter and chapter educational offerings.
  • Create membership recruiting and retention plans.
  • Provide content to conduct professional development meetings
  • Stay current on important APICS news and updates to enhance your chapter's services to the membership. Bookmark cbox.apics.org in your web browser or access C-BOX here.

2. My Chapter
My Chapter is your online database management tool that provides designated chapter officers with real-time access to key membership and chapter-specific data. It also is the place to go to update your chapter’s billing address, review your credit limit, and retrieve your chapter’s billing number.

Updating the Chapter Profile section of My Chapter is an excellent way to market your chapter. The information you provide within the profile is listed on the Online Chapter Locator, which is used to inform the public about your chapter. Access My Chapter in C-BOX here.

3. Leadership Central
Chapter officers’ primary publication is the enewsletter, Leadership Central. This publication is sent to all chapter officers via email on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Within Leadership Central, you will find APICS corporate updates, best practices, tools of the trade, leadership advice, and important dates. Chapter officers are encouraged to peruse the archived issues, which are found in C-BOX here.

4. District Managers and the District Volunteer Management Staff
APICS has more than 230 local chapters that are divided into nine geographic districts spanning across North America. Each district has a district manager and a district volunteer management team. They assist chapter officers by developing and implementing chapter management training, and provide a two-way communication between APICS corporate and the local chapter.

To find your district and contact your district volunteer-management staff, visit  apics.org/membership/districts/default.htm

5. APICS District and Chapter Services Department
The APICS District and Chapter Services Department staff is dedicated to building well-running APICS chapters. Located within the districts, the staff provides dedicated support to the chapters and chapter officers, as well as general member support.
